Minimalism: Space. Light. Object

The past few days, I haven't been doing anything interesting until last weekend.
I just wanted to share one of the things I love about Singapore that I didn't get to appreciate in the PH.
There's this new exhibit called Minimalism (post on title) in the National Gallery and it was absolutely amazing!

This post is not a long story post, but just some photos I took with the person who took me here.
Glad I have this guy as a friend. So you'll see him in most of the shots. I'll add a short description of the shots too from what I can recall.

This is my friend, Thank you for allowing me to have you as the subject of my photo.

(Olafur Eliasson, Room For One Colour)
The photo on the left was overexposed, but I liked it still so I kept it. But the one on the right explains the room better. Basically the colors you see on the right side are what you actually see in the room when you walk in. The photo doesn't do the room justice though. Best to go and check it out yourself if you're in SG.

(Frederik De Wilde, Horizontal Depth3 — “This In Not the Place We Go to Die. It’s Where We Are Born”)
Basically this art is supposed to imitate a void in space. Pretty cool. Photo still doesn't do it justice. Sadly 2D representations just can't show you how beautiful it actually is.

I didn't catch the name of this one. But I really liked the Sci-Fi feels of it.

(Mona Hatoum, Impenetrable)

Lastly, Here are the other photos I took while I was there.

For those interested in going, there are two exhibits apparently. One in ArtScience Museum, and the other in National Museum. All photos here were taken in the National Museum. (https://www.nationalgallery.sg/exhibitions/minimalism-space-light-object)

The names of the artworks stated, I got from this link, check it out if you wanna see more. https://www.indesignlive.sg/happenings/10-must-experience-artworks-minimalism
